Who or what inspired you to work in football?
I grew up around football. My dad made me an avid NFL fan and my older cousin played football at Syracuse and then in the NFL for a bit in the early 2000s, enhancing my football fandom. I ended up also going to Syracuse, but to play softball, and continued my love for Syracuse football and the NFL long after my playing days were over. As a former athlete, I know the impact sports has, but there is something so unique about [the] impact football has on people and I knew I wanted to be a part of it in my professional career. I also know that there's more to the game than just what happens on the field and I wanted to be able to help share and tell the stories of the positive difference the NFL and its players are making in communities. I know how important it is to highlight all of the effort that goes into being part of a team and also helping those in need and I wanted my work to help bring that to light, and what the NFL and its players do in this space is tremendous.
