Brock Lesnar is now truly the next big thing in the UFC.
After two rounds yesterday at UFC 91, Lesnar defeated UFC Hall-of-Famer Randy "The Natural" Couture to win the UFC Heavyweight title, leaving the Las Vegas crowd stunned and booing the former professional wrestler.
With a busted eye, Lesnar managed to hit Couture with a huge right hand with two minutes and eight seconds remaining in the second round—Couture fell on his back.
Lesnar quickly followed with tons of right hands to the head, but Couture laid helplessly on the mat as the referee stopped the fight with one minute and 54 seconds to go.
The crowd cheered big time for the finish, however they booed the new UFC champion when Joe Rogan interviewed him in the octagon.
"I may come across as a cocky SOB, but I'm confident. That’s what the Lord gave me, my body and my mind," said Lesnar, who added that he respects Couture for fighting him after a year off.
Now the former champ, Couture said that ring rust was not an issue and it all came down that Lesnar is a big guy who caught him with a big hand.
"That's some big ass ham hocks coming at you, it's hard to get out of the way of those," said a smiling Couture.
Former WWE Diva "Sable" also went in the octagon to celebrate with her husband before UFC President Dana White strapped the UFC Heavyweight title on the new champ.

Both fighters received $250,000 for their participation in yesterday's pay-per-view while Lesnar received a $200,000 win bonus. If Couture won he would have received an additional $250,000.
