All-Time Super Bowl Power Rankings from WhatIfSports.com

Who Dat? Whatifsports.com dat!

Though Las Vegas loved the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLIV, our computers loved the New Orleans Saints even more and correctly predicted Drew Brees and company would win the 2009 Super Bowl by taking out the bias out of the game and relying solely on the statistics to predict its outcome.

In fact, Whatifsports.com correctly predicted the outcome of four major championships in 2009. We successfully simulated the outcome of the Lakers over the Magic in the NBA Finals, the Yankees over the Phillies in the World Series, Alabama over Texas in the BCS National Championship game, and now the Saints over the Colts in the Super Bowl.

As Super Bowl champs, the New Orleans Saints are officially welcomed into the fraternity of NFL great teams. But where does the high octane offense of Brees, Colston, Thomas and Bush rank among the other 43 Super Bowl champions?

Whatifsports.com plugged the numbers into their super-computers to seek out an answer.

Our sophisticated football simulation engine ran so that each Super Bowl champion played each other 101 times. The output generated included team winning percentage, average points per game, and average points allowed per game. You can select any two of these Super Bowl champions right now and simulate the results using our NFL SimMatchup feature.

We at Whatifsports.com thrive to provide provocative insight to your favorite sport and get the trash-talking started with rankings like these that will no doubt create controversy, discussion, and debate over the course of the NFL offseason.

I'm sure recently retired Kurt Warner will rest easy tonight knowing his "Greatest Show on Turf" has been labeled by Whatifsports.com as the All-Time Greatest Super Bowl team based on our rankings.

I also have a feeling Mercury Morris may be ready to dissect and discourage this rating system from ever gracing the internet.

Sorry, Mercury, for yet another champion has been crowned ,and it's Whatifsports.com's dedicated staff ready to pop the champagne on another accurate prediction.

Cheers!

Kurt Warner's 1999 St. Louis Rams , also known as "The Greatest Show On Turf", are Whatifsports.com's No. 1 Super Bowl Team of All-Time
