Titans Rumors: Elijah Moore Connected to TEN by Insiders Ahead of NFL Draft

After losing Corey Davis in free agency, the Tennessee Titans could target a wide receiver in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft.

Per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano, NFL insiders are "connecting" the Titans to Mississippi star Elijah Moore with the No. 22 overall pick.

Ole Miss has a strong track record of developing wide receivers to the NFL in recent years. The Titans hit a home run in 2019 when they selected A.J. Brown in the second round.

DK Metcalf has emerged as the No. 1 option for Russell Wilson during his first two seasons with the Seattle Seahawks.

Tennessee let Corey Davis walk in free agency after he posted the best season of his career in 2020. The 26-year-old signed a three-year contract with the New York Jets in March. He recorded 984 yards and five touchdowns on 65 receptions in 14 games last year.

Moore is smaller than a traditional first-round wide receiver at 5'9" and 178 pounds, but he's dazzled scouts and talent evaluators leading up to the draft with his impressive workouts.

ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. has Moore ranked as the 16th-best player in the 2021 draft class.

"He's one of the most pro-ready receivers in this class, a slot target who can run every route," Kiper wrote.

Moore was a consensus All-American last season for the Rebels. His 86 receptions and 1,193 yards ranked second in the nation, behind 2020 Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith.
