Tiger Woods has been moved to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and undergone additional follow-up procedures after a single-car accident on Tuesday, the golfer announced.

Woods suffered multiple leg injuries in the crash, though none were considered life-threatening. A timeline for his recovery remains unclear, but his tweet said his procedures were a success and the 45-year-old remains in "good spirits."

The Florida resident was in Southern California filming scenes for a GolfTV program that featured the star coaching celebrities on their games. Authorities said the SUV he was driving hit the center divider on the road before rolling over multiple times and landing about a hundred feet from the pavement.

Woods was conscious when police found him and quickly taken for emergency surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

Initial operations required doctors to insert a metal rod into the tibia of Woods' right leg along with screws and pins in his foot and ankle. The hospital's chief medical officer, Anish Mahajan, said Woods suffered "significant" leg injuries, including open fractures to both the upper and lower portions of his right tibia and fibula.

Woods won't face charges with officials calling the crash "purely an accident." Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva told reporters there was no evidence "whatsoever" that Woods was driving impaired before the accident, and authorities are awaiting black-box data from the SUV to learn more about what led to the crash.
