On the heels of the blockbuster return of Goldberg on last week's Legends Night edition of Raw and Shinsuke Nakamura's return to form on Friday's SmackDown, WWE rolls into the week with questions aplenty.

What will either of those things mean for the road to Royal Rumble? Is this the start of a renewed push for Nakamura? What the hell was Goldberg trying to say about Drew McIntyre disrespecting legends?

They are all questions that figure to be answered this week on WWE television, and these are a few predictions for exactly how those stories will play out.

Drew McIntyre's Explanation for Goldberg Confrontation

Goldberg emerged from the locker room at the conclusion of last week's Raw and accused McIntyre of disrespecting legends.

However, the WWE champion did nothing of the sort.

The plot hole was caused by a main event that ran long, thus preventing the Scot from cutting the promo that would have set up Goldberg's retort. Without it, fans were left scratching their heads, trying to decipher just what the returning legend was talking about.

WWE will correct that flaw this week when McIntyre explains all and further lays the groundwork for a title defense against Goldberg on January 31—even if the idea of the titleholder even slightly disrespecting legends is inconceivable.

Charlotte Flair Avenges Last Week's Tag Team Match

Lacey Evans spent last week's tag team match with Peyton Royce against Charlotte and Asuka fixated on The Queen's father, Ric Flair.

She would repeatedly flirt with The Nature Boy, which ultimately caused him to inadvertently trip up his daughter and cost her the match.

Monday night, The Queen will look to avenge that loss and Evans' shenanigans, presumably in a singles match.

Charlotte has appeared unstoppable since returning at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs in December and will not have her momentum halted by Evans, who has been utilized inconsistently at best.

Without her dad there to distract her, The Queen will power to victory as she continues preparations for her defense of the women's Royal Rumble title.

Pac Silences Eddie Kingston in Retribution for Last Week's Beatdown

Moments after Kenny Omega defeated Rey Fenix to retain the AEW World Championship last week, we saw video of Eddie Kingston, The Butcher and The Blade standing over a beaten-down Pac and Penta El Zero M.

Wednesday night, the leader of Death Triangle will seek a measure of revenge against Kingston when the two clash in one of the night's main events.

The war between Death Triangle and the Kingston family has been one of the most intense in all of AEW. No matter how many times Pac and The Lucha Bros win, though, Kingston escalates things as only he can.

In fact, there's no guarantee that a win for Pac means the end of the feud. Instead, it could further intensify things as the Revolution pay-per-view approaches on February 27.

Pac will beat Kingston Wednesday night, but it won't settle things between the two sides. 

Shinsuke Nakamura Continues Rebirth as Credible Main Eventer

Shinsuke Nakamura had his best showing in years when he knocked off Rey Mysterio, Daniel Bryan and King Corbin during a No. 1 Contender gauntlet match on Friday—at least it was until universal champion Roman Reigns and Jey Uso beat him down and cost him a shot at the gold at the Royal Rumble.

WWE has already announced Nakamura will do battle with Uso Friday on SmackDown, which effectively confirms a sudden babyface turn for The Artist.

Nakamura will avenge the highway robbery that resulted in him missing out on a championship opportunity and jump-start a push that could see him challenge Reigns for the gold at Elimination Chamber in February.

The Artist still has considerable credibility from his days in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, no matter how questionably he has been booked in WWE. He is so perpetually over with the hardcore fanbase that all it takes is a hint of a push and they will instantly buy into him in that role.

That appears to be what we are seeing play out now. Where it takes Nakamura is another question.
