Los Angeles Clippers forward Montrezl Harrell has left the NBA bubble near Orlando, Florida, because of a family emergency, according to Shams Charania of Stadium and The Athletic. 

Most of the Clippers have been in Florida preparing for this month's restart since July 9, with the full team expected to participate in the league's return. 

Charania notes Harrell is expected to rejoin the team "at a later date".

The 26-year-old will be subject to a league-mandated quarantine of at least four days upon his return before he can begin team activities again. 

Harrell has shown a willingness to take part in the league's plan to crown a 2020 champion, arriving with the first group of Clippers in Orlando. The forward is also one of a number of players adding social justice messages to his jersey once games resume, opting to use the phrase "How Many More" in place of his last name.

"Don't us people bleed like you, don't us people breathe the same air as you do," Harrell wrote on his Instagram story (h/t/ Sports Illustrated's Garrett Chorpenning). "But yet again the color of our skin tells the story right. That's why on back my uniform I have replaced my name with 'HOW MANY MORE.'"

Guard Lou Williams told ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk the Clippers were taking an "everybody or nobody" mentality toward the restart. Once they voted as a team to play, they were all in. 

The Clippers (44-20) have already clinched a spot in the postseason and will use the final eight games of the regular season to tune up for the playoffs and determine their seed. Harrell has been a big part of the club's success this season, averaging 18.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game.
