Las Vegas is ready for football.   

According to Vic Tafur of The Athletic, the Las Vegas Raiders sold out their entire allotment of tickets for their 2020 home slate at Allegiant Stadium. It's not just season tickets, either, as every single home ticket in the stadium has been sold for the team's inaugural campaign in Sin City.

The Raiders announced their schedule Thursday, and fans will be treated to a Monday night showdown against Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints, a Sunday night clash with Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and another Sunday night matchup with Patrick Mahomes and the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs.

It doesn't get much more intriguing than that trio of games in terms of home contests in a single season, and Las Vegas also welcomes potential AFC playoff contenders in the Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Chargers, Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts, as well as a game against a Miami Dolphins squad featuring rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Las Vegas likely didn't need a head-turning schedule to sell tickets for its first year in a new city, but that list of teams surely didn't hurt its efforts.

Perhaps the home support will help the franchise turn things around since it has made the playoffs just once after appearing in the 2002 season's Super Bowl. It added speedy wide receiver Henry Ruggs III to an offense that also has the talented Josh Jacobs at running back, but the season will likely depend on quarterback Derek Carr's progression.

Carr went to three straight Pro Bowls from 2015 through 2017 but is just 11-21 as a starter over the last two years.

He will have plenty of support at his home games, assuming fans will actually be able to attend. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell issued a statement Thursday saying the league "will be prepared to make adjustments as necessary" when it comes to the schedule amid concerns about the coronavirus pandemic.

"We will continue to make our decisions based on the latest medical and public health advice, in compliance with government regulations, and with appropriate safety protocols to protect the health of our fans, players, club and league personnel, and our communities," he said.
