The Dallas Cowboys reportedly are at least open to addressing their defense in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. 

According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Clarence Hill Jr., the Cowboys have held virtual video meetings with LSU edge-rusher K'lavon Chaisson, LSU safety Grant Delpit and Florida cornerback CJ Henderson.

Henderson is the latest in a list of cornerback prospects reported to have met with Dallas:

Cornerback is an area of need for the Cowboys after Byron Jones left in free agency to become the highest-paid player at the position with the Miami Dolphins last month.

Dallas began addressing the vacancy last week:

Bleacher Report's Matt Miller ranked Henderson as the second-best cornerback in this class behind Ohio State's Jeff Okudah and 14th-best prospect overall in his latest big board on Monday. Miller also pegged Henderson as the "best scheme fit" for the Cowboys.

As for Delpit and Chaisson, Delpit won the 2019 Jim Thorpe Award given annually to the nation's best collegiate defensive back:

Fellow LSU Tiger Chaisson led the national champions with 6.5 sacks and 13.5 tackles for loss last season. He has been linked to the Cowboys:

The Cowboys are set to pick at No. 17 overall when the draft begins on April 23.
