Tyreek Hill on Chiefs Offense: 'Nobody in the NFL Can Guard Any of Us'

Tyler Conway

Tyreek Hill is not lacking in confidence heading into Sunday's AFC Championship Game matchup against the Tennessee Titans

Hill spoke to reporters Wednesday, giving the Titans some bulletin board material by saying no one can defend the Chiefs offense.

"I feel like nobody in the NFL can guard any of us," Hill said. "I mean, that's no disrespect to nobody. That's just the confidence I got in myself and the wideouts I got around me, including the tight ends and running backs. I feel like no DB unit, no secondary unit, no linebacker or any defense can guard any of us. So man-to-man is just easy for us to beat. And if you just allow us to just run through zone it's even easier."

Hill has a point. The Chiefs are coming off a 51-31 win over the Houston Texans that saw them go on a 51-7 run after spotting Houston 24 points in the first half. While their offense has not been quite as prolific as it was during last season, Kansas City finished the regular season third in offensive DVOA despite Patrick Mahomes missing two-plus games due to injury.

The Chiefs offense is as close to full health as it's been all season. In addition to Mahomes, Damien Williams, Hill and Sammy Watkins missed time due to injuries. All of them are healthy coming into the AFC Championship Game showdown.

Kansas City will face off against a Tennessee defense that bent but did not break against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens' explosive attack. Jackson accounted for more than 500 total yards of offense by himself but forced three turnovers that proved pivotal in the 28-12 victory.

If the Chiefs account for more than 500 yards of total offense, they're in all likelihood heading to the Super Bowl. Mahomes threw only five picks during the entire regular season.
