Antonio Brown continues to be frustrated with the Oakland Raiders, with the disgruntled receiver now asking for his release:

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Raiders fined Brown $215,073.53 for conduct detrimental to the team, which voids the $29.1 million in guaranteed money on his contract. They also "sent Brown a letter that [said] he no longer will be entitled to termination pay if they release him." 

ESPN's Ed Werder reported the Raiders fined Brown on Friday after his verbal altercation with general manager Mike Mayock.

In an email to ESPN's Jeff Darlington, Brown wrote there's "no way I play after they took [away the guarantees] and made my contract week-to-week." Darlington added "at this moment" don't expect Brown to play Monday.

Per ESPN's Josina Anderson, Brown issued an apology for initiating an altercation with Mayock to the Raiders during a team meeting Friday, with team captains standing by his side.

Prior to Brown's latest Instagram post, head coach Jon Gruden told reporters Brown wouldn't be suspended and the plan was for him to play Week 1 against the Denver Broncos.

Since the Raiders play Monday night, they are required to file an official game-status report with the NFL by 4 p.m. ET Saturday. Brown was listed on their official injury report during Thursday's practice as a DNP (conduct), but he did return Friday.
