21-Year-Old Song Yadong's Vicious Knockout Punch Puts Alejandro Perez to Sleep

The rise of Chinese MMA continued at UFC 239 with one of the year's purest knockouts of the year thanks to Song Yadong.

The talented 21-year-old has been honing his skills at Team Alpha Male alongside Urijah Faber, and his performance in Las Vegas will shine a light on him as one of the top bantamweight prospects.

Alejandro Perez threw an ill-advised inside leg kick that opened the window for a crushing right hand from Yadong.

The sound echoed throughout the arena upon connection.

Perez folded over and snapped back to the canvas. Yadong landed a final right hand on the mat as referee Herb Dean stepped in to save Perez. The official time of the knockout came at 2:04 of the first round.

Yadong is now 4-0 inside the Octagon with a seven-fight win streak. Under Faber's tutelage, we may be looking at a future contender in the 135-pound division.
