Look: Ronda Rousey Pictured in Cast After Rumored Broken Hand at WrestleMania

WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey was photographed Wednesday with a large cast on her right hand.

As seen in the following photo, courtesy of TMZ Sports, Rousey was sporting the cast while making her way into a taping of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in New York City:

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t Nate Scott of USA Today) reported a day after the April 7 show that Rousey suffered a "severely broken hand" in the Triple Threat main event of WrestleMania 35 against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

In a vlog released after WrestleMania, Rousey is shown getting X-rays on her bruised right hand, beginning at the 13-minute mark (Warning: contains profanity):

Rousey entered WrestleMania as Raw women's champion, but she was pinned by Lynch with a crucifix. That led to Becky becoming both the Raw and SmackDown women's champion.

Despite the loss, Rousey cemented her place in history as one of three women to compete in the first-ever all-women's main event at WrestleMania.

A hand injury is reportedly not the only reason for Rousey's absence from WWE. ESPN's Ramona Shelburne reported Monday that a source close to Rousey told her the former UFC star is taking a hiatus from WWE to start a family.

Rousey also posted a photo on Instagram of herself kissing husband Travis Browne, accompanied by the hashtag "#impregnationvacation."

With the injury and reports of Rousey's plans to start a family, it may be quite some time before she resurfaces in a WWE ring.

During her first year with the company, Rousey made a massive impact by competing in two WrestleManias, winning the Raw Women's Championship and losing only one match as an individual.

Based on the success she has enjoyed in WWE already, Rousey will almost certainly be deployed as a top star once again if she makes her return to WWE.
