Conor McGregor has said he is ready to fight in the UFC once again if he is given "his rightful shares in the company."

Speaking about a potential bout with Donald Cerrone, the Irish superstar said he is willing to return to the Octagon if he is given a slice of the UFC.

MMA writer Mike Pendleton shared a video of Notorious confirming his thoughts:

According to Brett Okamoto of ESPN.com, Cerrone said has been in discussions with the UFC about a fight with McGregor, but the Irishman was stalling about the terms of the battle.

"Conor won't fight unless it's a main event," said Cerrone. "I don't know if it's an ego thing or a status thing for him. I don't give a s--t. I'll fight anyone, anywhere, and I stand by that all the time. I guess he's a prima donna and only takes main event spots, I don't know."

UFC President Dana White might not want to give McGregor part of the huge MMA company, but the fighter has an acute valuation of his brand and his ability to attract attention.

Per Okamoto, Cerrone added he's been "waiting" on McGregor's decision. The Cowboy said whoever his next opponent is, they must face him no later than July.
