Khabib Nurmagomedov's Agent: I Want to See Conor McGregor 'Drink His Own Blood'

Christopher Simpson

Khabib Nurmagomedov's agent, Ali Abdelaziz, wants Conor McGregor to go down hard if he earns a rematch with the UFC lightweight champion.

Nurmagomedov forced McGregor into a fourth-round submission when they met in a long-awaited showdown earlier this month, and Abdelaziz says the right price will get the Russian back into the Octagon for another bout.

He told TMZ Sports"Maybe, whole bunch of money get on the table, maybe there'll be a rematch, maybe we'll give a rematch to the guy we just killed."

If the pair do fight, he added: "I really want to see [Conor] drink his own blood."

Abdelaziz continued: "He talked a lot of s--t. He didn't back it up. Embarrassed himself in front of his whole beautiful country of Ireland, his father, his mother, his wife."

McGregor expressed an interest in fighting Nurmagomedov again shortly after his defeat:

Good knock. Looking forward to the rematch.

Abdelaziz believes Nurmagomedov has surpassed McGregor in terms of status and is now a "global superstar," though, so the Notorious or anyone else looking to challenge him would need to bring "$50 million to $100 million to the table."

"Come on, man! You have a guy meeting with [Russian president Vladimir] Putin and [Turkish president Recep Tayyip] Erdogan. And, the other guy selling liquor on the corner store. It's not even in the f--king same planet," he concluded.

Abdelaziz shared TMZ's video on Twitter:

Bleacher Report's Jonathan Snowden believes Nurmagomedov has McGregor to thank for his newfound status:

There's no love lost between Abdelaziz and McGregor. In the build-up to the fight, the latter called the former "a f--king snitch, terrorist and rat," per MailOnline's Will Griffee.

The Irishman was referring to allegations made in the book Enemies Within: Inside the NYPD's Secret Spying Unit and bin Laden's Final Plot Against America, which reported Abdelaziz was recruited as a counterterrorism informant but was later suspected of being a double agent.

The war of words will stoke the fires ahead of a potential rematch, as McGregor remains the most lucrative opponent Nurmagomedov can face in the UFC.

The Russian was dominant for large parts of their contest, but there will be plenty of interest in seeing McGregor's response in a rematch, particularly after the post-fight brawl heightened tensions between the two camps.
