DeVante Parker Trade Rumors: Eagles Have Talked to Dolphins About Deal for WR

Adam Wells

If the Miami Dolphins trade DeVante Parker, the Philadelphia Eagles could be a landing spot for the wide receiver.

Per Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, the Super Bowl champions are among the teams that have had trade conversations with the Dolphins about Parker.

Per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Dolphins are telling interested teams it will take a third-round draft pick to acquire Parker.

Salguero and Barry Jackson previously reported Miami isn't actively shopping Parker and would be satisfied keeping him after the Oct. 30 trade deadline.

Philadelphia's receivers have been a disappointment so far in 2018. Nelson Agholor leads all Eagles wideouts with 303 yards on 32 receptions. Alshon Jeffery is the only receiver on the team with at least 10 receptions who is averaging more than 10 yards per catch.

Parker has only appeared in two games this season due to injuries. The former first-round pick caught a career-high 57 passes in 2017. He is set to make $9.387 million next year, the final season of his rookie contract.
