Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has discussed his future amid speculation he could leave Old Trafford.

"My future is currently in Manchester," he told Sky Sport Germany (h/t BBC Sport). "I still have a contract, I am playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the next few months."

Barcelona were heavily linked with Pogba over the summer. The Catalan giants had a bid of £45 million plus Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes rejected by the Red Devils, according to the Guardian's Fabrizio Romano.

Pogba is also interested in a return to former side Juventus, and the France international could push for a return in January, according to Tuttosport (h/t Calciomercato.com).

The midfielder's comments are likely to fuel speculation over his future.

Football correspondent James Robson offered his view:

Pogba also spoke about his relationship with manager Jose Mourinho with Sky Sport Germany.

"We have a pure coach-player relationship, that's right," he said. "One thing I can assure you, I will always give 100 per cent, no matter which coach, I always give everything for United—I can not say more."

Alex Shaw at ESPN FC felt his words were not helpful:

The Mirror's David McDonnell reported Pogba has called a "truce" with Mourinho and will not seek a move in the winter transfer window. 

Mourinho has failed to consistently get the best out of Pogba during his time at Old Trafford. However, the blame does not lie solely with the manager.

Pogba told Sky Sports after Manchester United's shock defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion in August that his "attitude wasn't right enough" during the game.

Football writer Daniel Harris said the Frenchman has not done enough at Old Trafford:

Barcelona players have been happy to talk about the possibility of Pogba moving to the Camp Nou. Striker Luis Suarez said he "would always be welcome," per RAC1 (h/t Malik Ouzia at the Evening Standard).

Meanwhile, defender Gerard Pique has also given his approval and said the club "would be happy to have him here." 

Pogba's refusal to commit his future to Manchester United is another indicator all is not well at Old Trafford. He remains a key player for the club, and if he were to leave, the Red Devils would demand a huge fee.
