Conor McGregor Releases First Video of Him Sparring in Ages, Focus on Grappling

For the first time since his superfight with Floyd Mayweather, Conor McGregor has posted video of him back in the gym.

Over the past few months, McGregor has teased fans with photos of his training. Now, he gives everyone a glimpse from above with video. Much like his recent photos, the video showcases his focus on grappling.

With Khabib Nurmagomedov holding the lightweight strap, and a potential superfight with Georges St-Pierre on the table, it is no wonder why the Irish star is working on his mat game.

With the possibility of GSP vs. Nate Diaz happing soon, McGregor would either fight the winner of that fight or choose Nurmagomedo instead.

The caption to the video continues to highlight the McGregor Sports and Entertainment brand. McGregor's promotional wing was part of the co-promotion for his fight with Mayweather and given his stature it will be interesting to see if it makes an appearance for any or all of his upcoming UFC tilts.

Stripped of both UFC titles he once carried, it is intriguing to see his focus on the grappling arts with dominant foes on the horizon for his inevitable return to action.
