After playing six seasons in the NFL, Greg Hardy is ready to go pro in another sport.
According to MMA Fighting's Dave Doyle, the 29-year-old former defensive end will make his professional mixed martial arts debut against Brandon Sayles on UFC President Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series in Las Vegas on June 12.

White previously told TMZ Sports that the former NFL star would have to "win some serious fights" before he would get a look:
Hardy played five years with the Carolina Panthers before suiting up for the Dallas Cowboys for one controversial season, which included a suspension after the league concluded its investigation of domestic violence allegations from 2014. He has not played in the NFL since 2015.
The 36-year-old Sayles (6'5", 298 lbs) is 5-1 as a professional. He has not lost since 2012 and enters the June bout on a three-match winning streak.
