In a game that showcased some of the top high school basketball talent in the country, it was North Carolina commit Nassir Little who managed to steal the show.
Sorry, Zion Williamson.
The Orlando Christian Prep star dropped 28 points in a 131-128 West victory over the East in the 2018 McDonald's All-American Game Wednesday. That put him with a fellow Tar Heel in elite company, as ESPN Stats & Info noted:
Per 247Sports, Little is a 5-star prospect and the sixth-best recruit in the class of 2018.
Little went an impressive 12-of-17 from the floor, including 2-of-4 from three-point range, in 21 minutes, as the box score shared by Andrew Slater of The Athletic showed. You better believe the folks in Chapel Hill liked what they saw:
As a video tweeted out by Overtime showed, the 6'7", 205-pound forward was a force on the court on this night:

There were plenty of promising players in this game. However, not many were on Little's level, as the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Tyler Dragon noted:
After making back-to-back championship games and cutting down the nets in 2017, North Carolina was upset by the Texas A&M Aggies in the second round of the 2018 NCAA tournament. Little will be a welcomed addition to a Tar Heels squad that is losing seniors Joel Berry II and Theo Pinson.
Little leads a North Carolina class that 247Sports ranks as the eighth-best in the country. The Tar Heels have plenty of talent as it is, but adding Little and fellow McDonald's All-American Coby White to the roster will help make up for the loss of key players.
