MMA can be a bloody business, and that was on full display at Invicta FC 28 on Saturday night. After a fairly routine opening to the undercard bout between Kal Schwartz and Kay Hansen, things went from zero to bloodbath in an instant.

After opening a cut during a clinch exchange, Schwartz landed a slick suplex on Hansen. Hansen landed awkwardly, and the impact from the throw split the cut open, causing blood to pour out.

Ground-and-pound followed, and the ref, eventually, stepped in to wave off the fight at 4:27 of the second round.

Despite being just 2-1 in her career, Schwartz's propensity for delivering impressive finishes makes her a fighter worth watching. And also makes her someone who might get lured into the UFC sooner rather than later.
