Eight-time Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt took part in a Borussia Dortmund training session on Friday and got on the scoresheet with his first touch, converting a fine glancing header in a half-pitch match. 

The retired Jamaican sprinter, who holds the world records for the 100 and 200 metres, also converted a left-footed penalty, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way when practising from the spot, per BVB:

Almost 1,500 fans gathered to watch the open training session, with Bolt the unquestionable draw, not least because most of BVB's first-team players are away on international duty.

It was 2014 FIFA World Cup winner Mario Gotze, though, who set up Bolt for his headed goal. 

The 31-year-old retired from sprinting in 2017 and has often spoken of his ambitions to become a professional footballer, per Goal's Ryan Kelly.

He showed some fine touches as he played in front of Dortmund manager Peter Stoger on Friday, but he was noticeably worn out after an hour's work.
