Hulk Hogan deleted a tweet early Monday morning saying he wished he could have entered the inaugural women's Royal Rumble.

"Wish I was in the Rumble I would have thrown all the girls over the top!! Lol. HH," the tweet read.

Asuka won the first women's Rumble on Sunday, eliminating Nikki Bella to earn a title shot against either Charlotte Flair or Alexa Bliss a WrestleMania. Her moment in the sun was a little short-lived, however, as former UFC star Ronda Rousey interrupted her post-match celebration to make her official WWE debut.

Hogan likely realized the poor optics of his tweet and decided to take it down.

The wrestling legend has essentially been blackballed from the sport after racist remarks he made about African-Americans were leaked in 2015. He was heard on a tape repeatedly saying "n----r" when discussing a man he thought his daughter Brooke had slept with.

On the tape, he said he was "a racist to a point."

Another tape, which was recorded without Hogan's consent and became known as the "sex tape," later led to him being awarded a $140 million settlement against the now-defunct website Gawker. Hogan has repeatedly apologized for his racist comments and has made some inroads toward returning to WWE.

Triple H, executive vice president of talent, live events and creative, said in 2015 it's possible Hogan returns provided he makes amends for his comments. Wrestling commentator Michael Cole also mentioned him by name in the 2016 Roadblock pay-per-view.
