Former Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher is being sued for $125 million by Tyna Robertson, the mother of his 12-year-old son.

Per TMZ Sports, Robertson said in her lawsuit that Urlacher, his lawyers and a Chicago Tribune reporter attempted to convince officials that she was responsible for the 2016 death of her husband, Ryan Karageorge.

TMZ Sports noted Robertson told police Karageorge shot and killed himself after pulling a gun out of her purse while the couple was arguing.

Urlacher received temporary custody of his son in January 2017 after filing an emergency motion in a Cook County court, per David Haugh of the Chicago Tribune

"This is an unfortunate situation, but my main concern is the best interests of my son," Urlacher said.

Per Larry Yellen of Fox 32 in Chicago, last April, the medical examiner in the case ruled Karageorge's death a suicide.

Citing Illinois court documents, TMZ reported Robertson is seeking $100 million in punitive damages and $25 million in compensatory damages.
