Manny Pacquiao Criticizes Floyd Mayweather for 'Running' in Deleted Tweet

Heading into Saturday night's spectacle against Conor McGregor, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is no stranger to megafights. Two years ago, he won a dream bout over Manny Pacquaio by unanimous decision.

For all the hype accompanying the match, fans left underwhelmed. According to CompuBox, Pacquiao landed just 9 percent of his jabs and 19 percent of his total punches. 

Mayweather typically wins in boringly efficient fashion, but he and McGregor have nevertheless managed to captivate a vast audience with loud pre-fight promotion. 

That didn't stop the undefeated boxer—the one who has actually boxed—from reminding everyone that all the talking doesn't matter:

Pacquiao responded with a tweet he has since deleted. Several observers captured the retort beforehand:

Sick burn by Pacquiao, who pointed out how he lost a fight because Mayweather successfully avoided getting hit.
