There was a bit of controversy Saturday night during the UFC 213 main event bout between Robert Whittaker and Yoel Romero.
Not because of the fight, mind you. Outside of the cage, cameras caught UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping with a small Cuban flag. He then ripped it apart while laughing.
MMA fans offered mixed reactions, ranging from indignity to amusement. From Romero, however, the only reaction was cold fury.

Speaking at the post-fight presser, Romero was asked if Bisping crossed the line. Just watch his face turn from a jovial smile to a telling glare as the discussion progresses (starting at 10:50):
Unfortunately, while this makes a potential fight between Bisping and Romero even more exciting, it's unlikely to happen anytime soon.
Bisping is likely still holding out for a blockbuster with Georges St-Pierre. If that doesn't materialize, a fight with Whittaker—now the interim middleweight champion after his unanimous-decision win over Romero—is on the docket.
A slow burn isn't necessarily bad, though, and if these two ever do throw down, it's must-see television.
