Justine Kish has revealed a "disgusting" offer she has received from one UFC fan, who offered her $15,000 for the shorts she soiled during her fight with Felice Herrig at UFC Fight Night 112.
Per Bloody Elbow's Anton Tabuena, Kish told Submission Radio of the offer:
"I would say I returned back with half of what I would have liked to have had [in winnings], and so the most lucrative was, 'Hey, I would like to buy whatever kind of winnings you lost, I would like to buy your shorts for that same amount to hang them up and blah, blah, blah in my man cave.
"I was like, this is disgusting. There are some really disgusting people out there. And so they offered me $15,000 for my shorts."
Kish lost the fight via unanimous decision, but it will perhaps best be remembered for the third-round incident in which she lost control of her bowels while escaping a rear-naked choke.
Kish added she has been encouraged to take up the offer despite her reluctance:
"Some man that wanted a man cave with my shorts – he has like a UFC [shrine]. He gave me his name, his email address, all these things. I really don't want to give too much details, but that was the most lucrative offer and I'm not gonna... I mean, why? People are saying, 'Send them over, just go do it.' I'm like, 'Oh, alright. Well I'll give him my information, but I don't see how this is actually real.'"
The 29-year-old has taken the accident in stride and made light of it on Twitter after the fight (warning, contains NSFW language):
She also reacted defiantly after Herrig was unable to end the fight via submission or knockout:
Indeed, it was her impressive escape from the choke in the third round that allowed her to go the distance.
The defeat was her first in MMA and the strawweight appears eager to move on and return to the Octagon once again.
Kish has since revealed she has been offered a "discretionary bonus" for the fight by UFC President Dana White, per The Domenick Nati Show (h/t MMA Mania's Dan Hiergesell), but she's unlikely to ever receive another as strange as this one.
