Former Louisville Cardinals point guard Chris Jones was shot Tuesday night on a basketball court in Memphis, Tennessee.
According to CBS Sports' Gary Parrish, East Tennessee State coach Steve Forbes said Jones was diagnosed with non-life-threatening injuries and has already been released from the hospital.
Fox 13 in Memphis reported another man was found on the court with a head injury that was a result of a fight that led to the shooting.
Jones, 25, averaged 11.8 points per game during his two seasons (2013-14 and 2014-15) with the Cardinals. Since leaving school, Jones has played professionally in France with Paris-Levallois and the Antibes Sharks.
