2017 NHL Draft Results: Tracking All Picks and Selections

Chris Roling

The United Center in Chicago played host to the 2017 NHL draft, with the New Jersey Devils walking to the podium first and selecting Halifax's Nico Hischier.

While the 2017 class didn't boast a surefire No. 1 prospect like center Auston Matthews, who came off the board No. 1 last year to the Toronto Maple Leafs, it offered other intriguing factors fans of the league can't ignore.

Other than a deep class featuring prospects like Hischier and Nolan Patrick, to name a few, the event boasted an expansion debut thanks to the presence of the Vegas Golden Knights.

Those Golden Knights headlined the action with a trio of picks in the first round alone. As always, the pace morphed to rapid fire after Round 1 as the league's 31 teams fired off 217 picks through Saturday afternoon.

Below, fans will find the official order and a tracker updated with each pick as it occurs.
