Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has reportedly reached an agreement to rejoin Barcelona, and the Spaniard is planning talks with Gunners manager Arsene Wenger to discuss his departure. 

According to RAC1 (via Chris Davie in Metro), discussions between Wenger and Bellerin will take place in the next 10 days, but Barcelona also still need to agree a transfer fee with Arsenal for the 22-year-old defender, whose current Emirates Stadium contract runs to 2023.

RAC1 (via Metro) added Bellerin is one of Barca's priority summer targets, and if he has told the Camp Nou giants he is willing to return to the club he left in 2011 it will give them hope of snapping him up.

The young full-back has long been linked with a return to the Catalan outfit, while he was also reported to be interested in joining manager Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, per Paul Hirst in the Times.

Arsenal were given a huge boost back in November when Bellerin penned a new long-term deal at the club, which seemed to end "speculation about a possible move to Barcelona or Manchester City," per Mattias Karen of ESPN FC.

However, the spectre of Arsenal losing Bellerin—one of the club's most important players—has reared its head again since the end of the season after the Gunners failed to finish in the Premier League's top four and so missed out on next term's UEFA Champions League.

Arsenal have endured similar blows before, with Cesc Fabregas and Thierry Henry both departing the north London club for Barca.

A significant consolation should they also lose Bellerin to the Blaugrana is he will likely return a hefty fee, with Barca prepared to spend £45 million on him, per The Independent's Miguel Delaney.
