Joey Logano took advantage of a late-race wreck to capture the checkered flag in a wild finish in Sunday afternoon's Can-Am 500 at Phoenix International Raceway to advance to the Championship Four in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.

Logano joins Carl Edwards, Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch, who is the defending series champion and made it in on points, as the final four drivers who will compete for the 2016 Sprint Cup Championship next Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Denny Hamlin, Matt Kenseth, Kevin Harvick and Kurt Busch were eliminated.

Kenseth led 55 laps on the day and seemed in position to win his way into the finale when he was wrecked during an overtime restart. Alex Bowman, who led a race-high 194 laps from the pole, was bumped by Kyle Busch on the restart and ran low on the track where Kenseth got into his right-front tire and spun into the wall.

The 2016 NASCAR season concludes with the Ford EcoBoost 400 next Sunday at Homestead where the Sprint Cup champion will be crowned. Bleacher Report will bring you live coverage.
