US Olympic Swimming Trials 2016: Results, Qualifying Times for Friday

The sixth night of the 2016 United States Olympic swimming trials in Omaha, Nebraska, saw four different final events punch 10 tickets to the Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro. 

Here are the winners, qualifiers and times from Friday night's action:

Lilly King led off the night by locking down her second spot in the Rio Games with a victory in the women's 200-meter breaststroke final. She clinched her place in the 100-meter breaststroke Tuesday. 

Molly Hannis will join her after qualifying by just 0.13 seconds over third-place finisher Bethany Galat. 

A pair of teammates from the University of California became Olympic teammates when Ryan Murphy and Jacob Pebley finished first and second, respectively, in the men's 200-meter backstroke. 

Like King, Murphy also qualified for his second spot in Rio, while Pebley beat out 2012 Olympic gold medalist Tyler Clary for second.

However, the third final of the day was the headliner, featuring Michael Phelps, the most accomplished American Olympian of all time, squaring off against Ryan Lochte one last time on United States soil in the 200-meter individual medley.

As expected, the two separated from the pack and were neck-and-neck. Lochte was able to close the gap on the breaststroke, but on the final leg of the race, the freestyle, Phelps managed to pull away and hang on for the win.

To finish off the evening's finals, the women's 100-meter freestyle had four qualifying spots up for grab.

Abbey Weitzeil led the pack, beating Simone Manuel by 0.24 seconds. Amanda Weir and Lia Neal will join them in Rio. 

Just two days remain at the Olympic trials, where six more final events will fill out the U.S. swimming roster for Rio.
