Thierry Henry put aside the Arsenal-Spurs rivalry on Wednesday when he stopped by an NBA training session in Texas.

The former Gunners striker, who spent the final years of his professional career at New York Red Bulls in Major League Soccer, met fellow countrymen Boris Diaw and Tony Parker at a San Antonio Spurs practice.

Henry scored 228 goals in 376 appearances with the north London club before moving to Barcelona and then New York, where he scored over 50 goals in five seasons.

In a column this past Saturday for Sky Sports, the 38-year-old conceded Tottenham Hotspur have a genuine chance to win the Premier League this season. Their NBA equivalent are currently second in the competitive Western Conference behind the Golden State Warriors.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are third in the Premier League behind Tottenham and Leicester.
