Bleacher Report Accepts Chad Johnson's 'FIFA 16' Challenge

It looks like former NFL star Chad Johnson was restless on Thursday, so he issued a challenge on Twitter that was gratefully accepted by the Bleacher Report team in San Francisco.

He volunteered "to Uber to you and beat you in your residence" at a game of FIFA 16, which office champion Mike Denevi couldn't refuse.

It was game on:

The 38-year-old wide receiver's team of choice were Spanish giants Real Madrid, who took on Denevi's Barcelona in one of the most high-stakes Clasicos of the season. Johnson had it all planned out:

And the self-proclaimed "FIFA 16 King" lived up to his nickname, taking down the office champion 3-1 thanks to goals by Luka Modric, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema before making his exit.

It looks like he enjoyed himself. He seemed to be in the mood for a rematch the following morning:

Johnson wound up returning to Bleacher Report for a rematch with Denevi, with Denevi winning a dramatic extra-time battle 2-1 in the first match and coming back from a 2-0 deficit for a 4-3 win in the deciding match.

Johnson was devastated in defeat.
