Leicester City forward Riyad Mahrez has taken the Premier League by storm this season, contributing 13 goals and eight assists in the Foxes' astonishing surge to the top of the table.

The Algerian's emergence as a serious talent might have taken the majority of fans and pundits by surprise, but an old video from 2008 has emerged that suggests he's long possessed the skills to pay the bills.

The short clip shows a 17-year-old Mahrez exhibiting an impressive array of tricks while practicing in the Parisian suburb of Sarcelles, where he started his youth career before moving on to Quimper, Le Havre and then Leicester.

One man who doesn't need to be reminded of Mahrez's skills is Philipp Wollscheid, as the Stoke City defender was nutmegged en route to Leicester's third goal in a 3-0 win on Saturday.
