After spending his career in the ring, boxing great Mike Tyson is headed to the Octagon.
In digital form, at least.
EA Sports has included Tyson as a playable character in its upcoming video game UFC 2. This is the company's way of honoring a fighter who had "legendary knockout power," which helped him put together one of the best careers in boxing history.
Tyson's presence in a UFC video game would be intriguing enough for fans on its own—but it gets better. EA Sports created two different versions of the boxer:
"Iron" Mike Tyson and "Legacy" Mike Tyson will give gamers the opportunity to play with the boxer at two different stages of his fighting days, with the latter being a tribute to his entire career.
UFC President Dana White is thrilled to see Tyson included in his promotion's video game:
UFC 2 will be released March 15, and fans who pre-order the game will be able to fight with Tyson right away.
