Barcelona announced Alba experienced discomfort in his right hamstring and is "expected to be out for around 10 days." Alba left injured on 70 minutes and was replaced by Marc Bartra.

As Barca's first-choice left-back, Alba is an important player at the Camp Nou, particularly due to the incredible pace and width he brings to the side that neatly mirrors the right flank—from which Dani Alves and Lionel Messi typically operate.
The 26-year-old also possesses excellent distribution, making him able to join in Barca's flowing team moves with ease.
As Sport indicated, the injury was poor timing for the Blaugrana, with concerns remaining over the fitness of Jeremy Mathieu and Adriano.
