Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reported Capela will play against Phoenix Thursday.

Capela Developing Faster than Expected

After making a grand total of 12 regular-season appearances during the Rockets' prosperous 2014-15 campaign, Capela has crushed that mark by playing in 49 games, including 35 starts, to date in 2015-16.

Over the course of those outings, the Swiss big is averaging 7.5 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game.

As those numbers indicate, Capela's most significant offerings have come on defense. Although Houston has struggled on that end all season long, the Rockets are 4.1 points better per 100 defensive possessions with Capela on the floor, according to NBA.com

"Clint has been playing really well for us," Rockets interim head coach J.B. Bickerstaff said, per Feigen. "Tried to get him more minutes. Putting him alongside Dwight gives us versatility along with some added length we thought we needed."
