Breaking Down Sanders' Impact on Broncos' Offense
After spending the first four seasons of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Sanders signed a three-year, $15 million contract with Denver that included $6 million guaranteed prior to the 2014 campaign, according to Spotrac.com.
During his first season with the Broncos, Sanders lit up opposing secondaries as he established an immediate connection with quarterback Peyton Manning.
He racked up a career-high 101 catches for 1,404 yards and nine touchdowns while appearing in all 16 games as he benefited from Manning's ability and the extra defensive attention paid to receiver Demaryius Thomas.
Sanders tallied the fifth most receptions last season behind Antonio Brown, Thomas, Julio Jones and Matt Forte, and that production solidified his status as one of the Broncos' integral offensive weapons.
