Marshawn Lynch at Super Bowl Media Day: 'I'm Here so I Won't Get Fined'

The Seattle Seahawks did their Super Bowl media day session on Tuesday afternoon, and all eyes were on running back Marshawn Lynch.

As anticipated, Beast Mode didn't have much to say. In fact, he only said one thing—over and over.

"I'm here so I won't get fined."

     

Update from Wednesday, Jan. 28

A day after telling the world that he was only at media day to avoid a fine from the league, Lynch had a similar message at yet another press conference.

Also, ESPN's Adam Schefter and Darren Rovell are reporting that Lynch could still face a fine by the NFL as a result of media day.

According to ESPN's Ed Werder, the NFL was threatening to hit Lynch with a hefty fine if he didn't talk at media day:

Well, he talked.

Once his required time was up, Lynch left the podium:

Maybe the reporters should have used Skittles to coax Lynch into a conversation.
