Ainge Comments on Horford's Injury

Celtics general manager and president of basketball operations Danny Ainge said on the Toucher and Rich show Thursday that he thinks one of Tyler Zeller's shoulders concussed Horford, according to ESPN's Chris Forsberg.

Celtics Counting on Horford for Star-Like Production

Horford joined the Celtics as a free agent in July after spending the first nine years of his career with the Atlanta Hawks. His arrival represented a much-needed upgrade to Boston's frontcourt as the organization pushes toward contention in the Eastern Conference.

Injuries have held him back at times in recent years, though. He's missed significant time while recovering from a torn pectoral twice. Aside from that, the other injuries he's suffered throughout his career have been of the more minor variety.

Horford should slide back into his prominent role now that he's set to return.
