Timberwolves' Mo Williams Allegedly Kicked Out of Vikings Game, Goes to B-Dubs

Dan Carson

Mo Williams ate one of the saddest, most delicious meals of his life after allegedly getting kicked off the field at TCF Bank Stadium on Sunday.

The Minnesota Timberwolves guard showed up to support the Minnesota Vikings in their Week 9 matchup against the Washington Redskins but was apparently asked to leave the field after the first quarter.

TheScore.com's Joseph Casciaro spotted this tale of woe, which Williams relayed in a series of increasingly heartbreaking social media dispatches.

As Williams frames it, he was taking in the game from the sidelines when stadium security compelled him to leave the premises.

Its amazing how professional teams suppose to support each other being in the same city. #timberwolves and #vikings, but they kick (1/3)

you off the field when u try to support. All I can say is wow. Best team security in the #nfl I guess smh. I'm out, good look. Last (2/3)

vikings game I will ever go too (3/3)

Williams also posted a picture of himself on the field.

In his caption, he emphasized that he had a great time until he was asked to leave.

"Was my view at the vikings game. Needless to say it WAS pretty cool #lastedonequarterthosmh," Williams wrote.

After vowing to never attend another Vikings game as long as he lives, Williams fled to the only place where a spurned pro athlete can lick his wounds and enjoy 16 signature sauces in a non-arcade setting (warning: NSFW language): He went to Buffalo Wild Wings.

Williams tweeted he would go to B-Dubs despite having gone through proper channels to get on the field at TCF Bank Stadium.

Buffalo wild wings it is. #imcoolnow #washottho #andiwentthruthevikingstoevencome is the killing part. But #bbw it is

If it's any silver lining, Williams really enjoyed his food. The guard posted a picture of a mound of half-eaten Parmesan garlic wings to his Instagram account.

He captioned the image, "Man these wings tho #parmesangarlic."

And that's how a pro athlete went from "celebrity on the sidelines" to "dude eating wings in a chain sports bar" in less than an hour.

Brush it off, Mo. You lasted longer out there than most Minnesota quarterbacks.
