Cameroon Second-Half Analysis

Charles Itandje: Hapless, clearly, but he's also unfortunate not to get more help from his defenders.

Nicolas Nkoulou: Quickly folded when the defence came under increased pressure following the Song red card.

Aurelien Chedjou: Replaced at half-time.

Joel Matip: Overrun in midfield by players of far higher quality.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto: Started to look disinterested and went missing for large periods.

Alex Song: Missed second half following first-half foolishness.

Stephane Mbia: Extremely poor and leggy. Game seemed too fast for him, as did former Sevilla teammate Ivan Rakitic.

Eyong Enoh: Ran around a lot but to little effect.

Benjamin Moukandjo: Missed a sitter late on and was largely frustrating.

Maxim Choupo-Moting: Has so much promise but seems unwilling to utilise it correctly.

Vincent Aboubakar: Best player for his side throughout. Often offered for a pass and was lively until being replaced.

Dany Nounkeu: On at half-time but had little to no effect.

Pierre Webo: Brought a good save from Stipe Pletikosa with a header.

Edgar Salli: Victim of a bad challenge by Eduardo.
