East Recruit to Watch: Adonis Jennings, WR
Adonis Jennings is the type of wide receiver who makes his quarterback look great on any given play.
Standing at 6'2" and 185 pounds, Jennings has appeared to narrow his choices down to Pittsburgh, Iowa and Arkansas after de-committing from Rutgers. Per ESPN.com's Jared Shanker, Jennings will make his decision during the bowl:
So Jennings is set to make the bowl interesting both on the field and off. But the real highlight comes on the field for fans who want to see the future of the position put on a show.
West Recruit to Watch: Brad Kaaya, QB
Standing at 6'4" and 215 pounds, Brad Kaaya out of Chaminade College Prep is one of the most impressive players to participate in the bowl.
As one of the nation's top recruits, it should come as no surprise that Kaaya has already committed to be the next quarterback for the Miami Hurricanes. It should also come as no surprise that Kaaya has looked great in the practices leading up to the bowl game, per Greg Biggins of Fox Sports:
Kaaya threw for 1,875 yards and 12 touchdowns to two interceptions on a 67 completion percentage in 2012. Expect nothing but fireworks when he takes the field Sunday.
Prediction
The prestige of this bowl is only beginning to write itself, with both the East and West claiming a victory in its first two games.
But one constant so far in a short span has been strong quarterback play by the winners. With that in mind, it is hard to bet against Kaaya and the West squad.
All players have plenty to prove in this contest, but it is the West that will come out on top while it showcases some of the college game's next big stars.
Final Score: West 20, East 17
