The PGA Tour's biggest star made headlines on Saturday, but not for his work on a golf course. 

Instead, it was Tiger Woods' apparent reunion (via The Daily Mail) with his Swedish ex-wife Elin Nordegren that had cameras flashing at their children's sporting event in Florida. 

Weeks ago, The Huffington Post reported that there was a possibility that Woods and Nordegren were on the verge of reconciling, but Woods declined to confirm or deny that report. 

Now, after being spotted in Jupiter, Fla. together (and smiling), golf's premier one-time couple seems to be getting along, even in the public eye. 

According to The Daily Mail report, Nordegren, who famously "smashed her former husband's SUV with a golf club after news of his rampant cheating surfaced," appeared to be enjoying the company of the PGA's former No. 1. 

Woods, 37, got to the sports day first with his son and daughter and about an hour later the children's mother arrived. 

When she got there, the pair spent about half an hour chatting and sources say they appeared to enjoy each other's company.

But it wasn't long before the famous family started to get noticed, at which point TMZ said they quickly fled - together in Nordegren's vehicle.

The meeting comes just weeks after reports that Woods has been attempting to win Nordegren back with a $200 million deal.

With Woods and Nordegren willing to be photographed and written about in public together, one has to believe that there are two possible explanations: 1) Woods is on the verge of convincing his ex-wife to give him another shot, or 2) the pair is simply attempting to get comfortable with being friendly for the sake of their children. 

After playing golf (via CNN) with President Obama recently, Woods seems to have eased back into his place as one of the iconic figures of American sports, but that likely means he'll once again be very reluctant to discuss anything involving his personal life.

If it's true that Woods is trying to piece his marriage back together with a sizable prenuptial agreement, maybe he's changed. Maybe he's another global superstar who's received enough of a shock to realize that family, rather than being a rock star, has to be his first priority. 

He's finally starting to look like the dominant force he was on the course before his divorce, and, who knows, maybe that's because his personal life is a bit more stable than it was 12 months ago.
