You read that correctly. Even though Jerry Jones doesn't appear to be breaking any laws and private industry can't really be affected quite that greatly by the President of the United States, angry Dallas Cowboys fans—about 350 of them as of this posting—are still asking Barack Obama to remove Jerry Jones from his position running the team.
The Dallas Morning News has pointed us to a petition on the White House website, which was put forth by a Georgia man and states as follows:
"We, the Citizens of the Great State of Texas, and Dallas Cowboys fans worldwide, have been oppressed by an over controlling, delusional, oppressive dictator for way too long. Request the Executive Branch's immediate assistance in removal of owner and GM, Jerry Jones. His incompetence and ego have not only been an extreme disappointment for way too long, but moreover, it has caused extreme mental and emotional duress."
I'm pretty sure you can make a petition for pretty much anything, but this is at least kind of funny considering it was launched the day after the Cowboys' Thanksgiving loss to the Washington Redskins.

Meanwhile, Jerry's son Stephen is defying math and logic and suggesting that the Cowboys have just as good a chance as anybody of making the playoffs, according to Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Jones also said Monday he's unsure about DeMarco Murray's status for Sunday night's game against Philadelphia, per Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News.
