Barcelona defender Dani Alves has expressed his desire to see fellow Brazilian Neymar play with Lionel Messi at Barca (via Goal.com).

"I am looking forward to seeing Neymar and Messi play together," he said. "[Neymar] would fit in very well. Barcelona will arguably have the two best attackers in the world with him."

Neymar, 20, has been linked with several leading European clubs, including Barcelona and rivals Real Madrid, for more than a year. He represented Brazil at the 2012 Olympics, scoring three goals.

Premier League Clubs Interested in Igor Denisov

Several English Premier League clubs are interested in Igor Denisov after the Russian midfielder was sent to Zenit St. Petersburg's reserve team (via talkSPORT).

Denisov, 28, received the demotion after criticizing Zenit for signing Hulk and Axel Witsel earlier this month. The new players are thought to earn significantly higher salaries than the rest of the squad.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal are listed as interested parties.

Andrei Arshavin to Get Another Chance with Arsenal

Russian attacker Andrei Arshavin will have another chance with Arsenal, according to The Independent.

Arshavin, 31, is set to make his first Arsenal start since January when the Gunners play Coventry City on Wednesday in the Capital One Cup.

Arshavin spent the second half of last season on loan at Zenit St. Petersburg but did not secure a permanent transfer during the summer window. He joined Arsenal from Zenit in 2009.

Sergio Ramos Not Leaving Real Madrid

Sergio Ramos has settled back in at Real Madrid and will not move to Manchester City during the January transfer window (via talkSPORT).

Ramos, a Spain international defender, had generated speculation over his future after reports emerged about a disagreement with Real manager Jose Mourinho.

"It is not for me to say, all I can say on the issue, from my point of view, is that things involving the team stay behind closed doors," said Ramos.

He added: "Real Madrid runs through my veins."

Chelsea Players Robbed at Training Ground

Chelsea have confirmed that a lone intruder broke into the club's Cobham training facility earlier this month and stole players' phones, wallets and watches (via Daily Telegraph).

Earlier this year, a knife was found in the dressing room of the club's academy. Also, youth player Jacob Mellis left the club in March after letting off a smoke bomb at Cobham.

"CCTV footage is being handed to them and confirms the thefts were carried out by a lone intruder not connected with the training ground site," said a club spokesperson.

"Other local premises near to the training ground were targeted that day and may be connected. Nobody at Chelsea FC is under suspicion."

Roy Hodgson Unlikely to Recall Rio Ferdinand

England manager Roy Hodgson probably will not select Manchester defender Rio Ferdinand despite the international retirement of John Terry (via Daily Mail).

Ferdinand was left out of Hodgson's Euro 2012 team for "footballing reasons."

Terry is involved in an ongoing controversy with Ferdinand's brother, Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand. Terry retired from international football earlier this week because of the incident.
