It is very difficult, if not ridiculously impossible, to win at anything if you don't play with pride, purpose, commitment, dedication and/or heart. With that being said, Bruce Arena's Los Angeles Galaxy commited a very grave sin on Saturday night against Sigi Schmid's Seattle Sounders.

This team played with none of those intangibles, and were impaled accordingly.

The Galaxy were destroyed in a 4-0 shutout by the Sounders at CenturyLink Field on Sunday night.

With the team dropping to 10-11-3 (33 points), the time has come for me to lay my own version of the Freeh Report on a team that never showed an ounce of the aforementioned intangibles during the defeat and deserved beatdown received in Seattle. Here it is. 

Josh Saunders: 1

You would think that Josh Saunders would have an improved performance after giving up five goals against Real Madrid. Unfortunately for him, he never was able to make the type of clean save that would acquit his case, and his case was never acquitted.

Saunders only made two saves because he was facing his execution at the hands of the Rave Green firing squad of Seattle. 

Sean Franklin: 1.5

Sean, let me talk with you a little bit.

Please get it through your head that you are not a right midfielder. You are a right-back, and you should stay as a right-back. No exceptions. No exceptions at all. You wilted as a right midfielder and have no business being in this position. Don't be someone you're not. Return to your right-back spot and stay there.

Omar Gonzalez: 3

It probably was a little bit too early for Omar Gonzalez to return so soon, but Bruce Arena apparently wanted to get Gonzo out there. However, he never really helped out his case as a center-back, and has not reached the level that he played at last year.

Off night for Omar—with a capital O.

A.J. DeLaGarza: 2

Another player that showed that his skill level was not up to speed was A.J. DeLaGarza. The yellow card he earned was the icing on a very poisonous cake. He was torched at will by the forward tandem of Fredy Montero and Eddie Johnson.

David Junior Lopes: 1

The days of David Junior Lopes in a Galaxy uniform have to be numbered.

You have no business being in that uniform if you get turned like a fourth-division scrub. There are similar center-backs in the NASL and even USL PRO that can outperform David Junior Lopes at center-back.

One of those players—surprise, surprise—is on the Galaxy team. I leave it to you to figure out who that is.

Bryan Gaul: 3

This will be a learning experience for Bryan Gaul, who will admit to himself that he is not ready for prime time against the teams above the Los Angeles Galaxy in the standings. Gaul can hold his own offensively, but from a defensive standpoint, he is a liability.

Todd Dunivant getting fit and healthy cannot come any sooner.

Juninho: 2.5

I'm not going to give Juninho bonus points for the shots he tried to make. He was off his game, and never got into focus in the midfield. The chemistry is not there. He showed a dismal lack of creativity in his shot selection.

David Beckham: 1

I really, really hate to give David Beckham this rating. The fact is, not only did Beckham underperform, he never really tried in this match. Atypical of someone who has achieved so much in his career.

Marcelo Sarvas: 2.5

Marcelo Sarvas was left out to dry against Seattle. His first touch took the night off and he found it difficult to string up some successful sequences.

Robbie Keane: 4

Probably the only player that actually tried to do something was Robbie Keane, who was receiving a majority of the passes from David Beckham. I am giving him minus points for his complaints and attempts to sway Chris Penso.

Not gonna work, Robbie. Get on with it.

Landon Donovan: 4

Donovan was a marked man, but he did not really get any long balls from Beckham. It was more Beckham relying on Keane than Beckham distributing the ball to Keane and Donovan. This was not a good performance from Landon, but it wasn't completely his fault.

Mike Magee: 5

Normally, I don't give sub players the highest scores, but I thought Magee played really well in the time he was on the pitch. However, considering he didn't get the start in his position, and the outcome wasn't in doubt, there really wasn't much Mike Magee could do.

He gets my Man of the Match award.
