Mallorca vs. Real Madrid: Preview, Live Stream, Start Time and More

Nicholas Goss

Real Madrid have been crowned La Liga champions for the first time since the 2007-08 season, but that doesn't mean they won't put on a show in front of their fans at the Bernabeu on Sunday.

Even though Madrid don't have much to play for, the same can't be said for Mallorca, who are just one point behind sixth-place Levante and fifth-place Atletico Madrid for the final two Europa League spots.

Earning a place in European football next season would be massive for Mallorca, so you can bet they will play an exciting, attacking style of football against Madrid to ensure a positive result.

Let's look at everything to need to know about this match.

Where: Estadio Santiago Bernabéu

Watch: Sky Sports HD3, GolTV

Live Stream: Sky Sports

Most Important Player to Watch: Karim Benzema

This was an important year for Karim Benzema, and he responded in a major way. He scored 20 goals in 25 league matches for Real Madrid and established himself as the starting striker for manager Jose Mourinho.

The French star's pace and shooting ability makes him very difficult to defend, and Mallorca will have a challenging time keeping Benzema off the score sheet on Sunday.

Key Matchup: Mallorca vs. the pace of Madrid

Madrid has several players, especially on the wings, who have a ton of speed and use it effectively on the attack.

Forwards such as Angel Di Maria and defenders like Marcelo do a great job of charging down the flanks for Madrid and sending dangerous crosses into the box to create quality scoring chances.

Mallorca must counter this athleticism to have a chance at winning on Sunday.

What They're Saying

Brazilian star Kaka recently talked about his desire to remain with Los Blancos for the future, saying via Soccernet:

"We have not talked about it yet as the league is not over," Kaka told Globo. "My contract still has three years to run and I will keep doing my job.

"Mourinho has been helping me and has given me chances. I do not want to leave Real Madrid."

Prediction

Madrid win, 4-2
