This group of City players are regarded by the vast majority of fans to be the best the Blues have ever enjoyed.

And the pundits agree, waxing lyrical about the early season form of David Silva, and the tireless performances of Yaya Toure.

With a Premier League title to their name, there would be no denying that they stand amongst the very best City teams and possibly even amongst the best teams ever to participate in the Premier League era.

Secure Mancini's Position

After crashing out of both domestic cups, the Champions League, and the Europa League, Mancini's position seems to be precarious at best.

Speculation has been mounting as to whether he will be in the City dugout next season, but having dragged his side back into the title race, his position looks decidedly more secure.

Winning the premiership would not only cement his place as City's manager, but would seal his place in the history books as one of the most successful of all time.
